Signs of Fall

Date: 11/17/2011

Number: 1

We have seen 2 or three Clarkes Grebes over the last 2 weeks. They are out toward the center of the Bridgewater Channel along side Lake Havasu. We also noticed Pie Billed Grebes in numbers all along the docks of the channel. We have the American Coots back as of last month. Great flocks out on the lake eating algae?

The Redwing Black birds have returned for the winter starting the beginning of this month or so. They love to sit in the Palo Verde trees along the channel and squawk!
