I have planted 3 milkweed flowers plants and now have caterpillars all ages and one chrysalis that i have spotted. There are at least 3 butterflies that visit my plants. Mostly one but occasionally two and rarely three. Cant tell their gender bc they wont stand still. I guess these are local butterflies. Usually the wasp eat em but i think wasp season is over so i should have a lot of home grown butterflies this time. Weather has been warm down here which contributes to the late season activity. In the past most of my Monarchs dont make it to adulthood bc nature is hard on them but maybe batch will do better as long as the weather permits.
