On a sunny fall day, the children from our two kindergarten classes planted 100 Red Emperor tulip bulbs! As we planted our new bulbs, we came across some bulbs from last year and we noticed how much longer the roots were on the tulips that we pulled up from the ground, from the prior year.
(I am resubmitting this since I could not find Lexington, KY in the list of sightings.)
