Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/15/2011

Number: 1

November 15, 2011, we went out to plant our tulips. We went out to our flowerbed on the side of the school. We are in the sixth grade. That morning the grass had some dew. It was sunny, but it was a little brisk out. We planted a total of fifty-six bulbs. We dug a hole seven inches down and put the roots of the bulb face down. We then covered them up. We put a Popsicle stick with our names, so then we will know where our tulips are when they are full grown. Before we went out and planted, we did a packet. We had to weigh them and measure what the circumference of the bulb is. Also what we wrote what we saw, what we feel, what we smell, and what we hear. We wrote what it reminds us of, and a what we wonder about. We drew a picture of our two bulbs.
