Prior to Thanksgiving I noticed white 'spots' all over one of my milkweed plants. Thanksgiving Day it was covered with caterpillars! There must have been 50 of them! This is my first such experience with my butterfly garden. I identified the caterpillars as Monarchs. The caterpillars completely stripped my two milkweeds - I bought two more and they were stripped within 24 hours. I only see about 10 caterpillars but will be on the search for chrysalids.
