We had noticed that there were a lot of Monarch Butterflies in our yard. We have a Loquat Tree is that blooming and that is where most of them have come to rest and get nectar from the flowers. That are very active and it appears that some may be mating. Not sure about that, but we have seen two flying together and also some are in pairs on the flowers.
