Since my last report, I have been seeing several monarchs every day when its sunny outside. I saw 2 monarchs in my yard today. The freeze last night seems to have killed some caterpillars but some are still alive and seem to be doing okay.

Sadly, my yard service misunderstood and mowed down my 100 plus butterfly weed seedlings last week. But, I still have 30 plus mature butterfly weed plants and about 10 seedlings missed the mowing.Some mature plants are still blooming with healthy leaves and some are damaged by the recent cold weather.
