Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 12/22/2011

Number: 11

We had a killer frost this morning and I was up and early replacing the nectar in the feeders as it was seizing up (it was quite a job, with fifteen feeders). The hummers (five male Anna's; six females) seemed glad, well, at least they were feeding actively. Fortunately we have no more frost in the forecast through the holidays. But I'l keep and eye out.
