Hello fellow birders: No snow,windy,48*,strange weather.Usual suspects here.Juncos been having a party in yard.Only see the sparrows in the morning.Week before xmas saw 100's of Canada geese north of Quest center in the open parkland.Had three crows in the tree having a discussion about where to find the juiciest mice.Making plans to put in more habitat for the birds.Maybe some more native grasses(little blue stem)and a couple more birdhouses.Right now I have suet, bk oil sunflower seed,hard seed brick,and water.Oh,and chuncky peanutbutter.Left the grasses in tact so birds would have a place to shelter.I see them fly out every morning.Looking forward to spring.Hope you had a joyful holiday!
