The monarchs continue to frequent the yard on a daily basis. The milkweed is blooming proving to be irresistible. The "northern" butterflys are bigger and show tattered wings that the localy hatched natives do not. There are many eggs and young cats on every plant. OE was nearly non existant at the start of fall, however now it's effecting about 70 % of the population, forcing me to euthanize and wash plants to keep it from spredding
