While out on a walk, I saw one American Robin in a wooded area of Langton Lake Park, at approximately 1:15 p.m. It is an extremely unseasonably warm day (temperature approximately 45 degrees F). I have never, ever! seen a robin in Minnesota in January! I haven't seen any robins since October 2011 -- I'm curious whether they are already migrating north given the unusual mild winter here, or whether this one could be a stray who never went south?
