We used two kinds of bulbs: refrigerated bulbs and bulbs stored outdoors. We planted in two different locations: half the bulbs in letter-shaped trenches in front of our school and half the bulbs in raised garden beds behind our school.

We thought it was going to be cold and miserable, but it turned out to be an exciting experience. There were clay and irrigation tubes in the soil, which made digging tough. It was cold and icy, so the soil was hard. But it was fun because we didn't have to dig straight trenches, we could do whatever shapes we wanted. It was freezing cold and hard work, but we still had a fun time.
