Friends of ours from Wisconsin who know monarchs well are in the Florida panhandle vacationing. On Jan 5 they saw 24 monarchs at Bald Pointe State Park and Eastpointe. For Jan 6th they write this:

Many monarchs at St Joe Penisula State Park. Also the Ranger at St.. Joe's said they found a tagged monarch from Tennesee. There are alot of little white
flowers called button something, the ranger could not remember.
