Ms. McComas' third grade class, 3D, planted 25 tulip bulbs. We gave all the bulbs bonemeal, watered them, and covered them with wire mesh so that the squirels won't eat them. It was a very sunny but cool 50 degree winter day in Charleston. We planted an extra 5 experimental bulbs, planting them upside down, not deep enough, too deep, diagonal, skinless and without bonemeal. We hope they all will emerge and bloom!
