Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/13/2012

Number: 1

On this day there were thousands of American Robins moving through the woods and open areas. They were extremely noisy: rustling in fallen leaves, eating juniper berries, chirping, and relieving themselves everywhere! There were large groups of them (dozens of individuals in each group) that would fly from the trees at a time. These groups were continuously flying overhead for hours. I took several videos of them this day. The general direction of the movement of these thousands of robins was from south west to north east during the time of my observation, which was approximately 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
