Six grade students at Blaschke Sheldon's Campus Beautification students planted tulips yesterday January 17, 2012. It was a beautiful day aproximately 75 degrees and sunny. Since we live in such a warm climate, we refrigerated our bulbs for three months. It was interesting to see that some of the tulips had already begun to sprout from their bulb. We marked each planting spot with decorated popscicle sticks so we know areas to watch. We are so excited to see the red tulips emerge and bloom.
