Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/18/2012

Number: 1

A wave composed of many hundreds of American Robins were feasting on worms they were pulling from the grassy grounds of a building near Valdosta State University. Some were flying about in the air, or into nearby trees. They were noisily chattering and eating with great gusto. We had rain last night, and that probably made the earthworms come close to the surface. Today was the first day we've seen robins here.
