Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 01/15/2012

Number: 1

Was in the yard with my dogs last weekend and noticed a robin staring down at me from a bare tree, I just couldn't believe it! We usually see our last robin in early to mid-September, and then not again until late March or early April (although one year we spotted a flock of robins eating on some grass in a nearby yard in February). This robin in the tree just sat there, chilling (probably literally?). After a few minutes of watching the robin sitting in the tree while the dogs ran around beneath it, I ran inside to get my camera (the one with the date-stamp, since I was certain no one would believe this). When I came back to the tree, it's as though the robin looked at me & said, "later" ... and flew to a nearby pine tree! So, what's up with that? It's COLD here!!
