This is both a "wave" and a "first heard singing" report (I also filed a "wave" report a couple of days ago.) Today, in a rather open residential region in the west part of Manhattan KS -- a region adjacent to a fairly large natural park -- I saw a group of at least 100 robins, perched in trees, flying from one tree to another. Some were eating berries in "red cedar" (juniper) trees. Among these, one bird sang briefly (of course there was lots of "chipping" going on).
