I was watching the birds eat birdseed I placed outside earlier when I spotted a robin. I got my camera, went to the window, and spotted not one robin but about eight robins picking the red berries from my holly bush. They flew up into the branches, grabbed a berry and went on to get others. They were observed for about an hour until they ate all the berries. 01/20/12
A snowstorm rolled in during the night. There were no berries on the bush that I could see, but a few robins were still around. My yard is filled with various kinds of bushes, some with berries, plus bittersweet. 01/21/12
