Leaf-Out (Any Species)

I was walking around my yard, aiming to check on the scupernong vines I had planted in the fall. There's an old fashioned hydrangea bush growing by one of the windows on the west side. It was easy to notice, since the hydrangea looses all leaves in the winter, and really appears to be a bunch of sticks in need of clipping back. All along the length of each brittle looking branch were small buds of green. Quite obvious due to the contrast in color. I also spied one miniature daffodil between two water oaks in the middle of my yard. There are lots of other daffodil stalks up, but their blooms are still tight and green.
