they arrived on Jan. 24 and they stayed in large groups through Jan. 27-28. There are just a few single birds now, no more loud groups.

It was the dawn song. They would fire up after 2pm and go until sunset. We have had loads of robins at my house since feb. 2003. They normally don't arrive until the 12th but they have come earlier this year and last year. I only see a few robins now but do not hear all that singing like I did last week.
