I saw an adult bald eagle flying over the South Branch of the Kisheaukee River near my home at about ten o'clock in the morning.
I did see one in the area sometime in the middle of January as well. Our temperatures this winter have been very mild so far. We did receive about seventeen inches of snow in January, most of which is gone now.
