Spotted a red shouldered hawk in a field. When I looked at the photo I took I saw that it was eating a worm. This surprised me because this is very early for a worm to be near the surface. Trees are budding and bulbs are emerging so I guess the worms must think it is Spring, too. We have had very warn weather and rain. No other evidence of a worm out just the one in the bird's beak.
