Today we observed that 20 out of 25 have emerged!!! Also, 2 out of 5 of our experimental bulbs have also emerged. Some were tall and others were shorter as they were just emerging. The taller ones were more open and the smaller ones were closed and pointy. The largest one was 5 1/2 cms and the shortest one was about 3 mm. The texture was slimy and moderately smooth, yet rough in some places and rubbery overall. They were the color of rusty red, brown and green. Some of the tulip greens were at different angles. We watered them and look forward to seeing them bloom!
