there were 30 of us doing a winter walk. after, we went back to the irondequoit fish and game club. there is a mated pair of eagles living on irondequoit bay, and the male picked that afternoon to fly and swoop right in front of the club! needless to say, everyone was out on the deck watching. he finally landed in a tree not far and sat there for at least an hour, no doubt scoping out his territory!
