Counted eight robins the first day. Sprinkled seed on the ground for them, but they seem to prefer foraging for insects. I fill a gallon jug with hot water when the bird baths freeze overnight to melt the ice. Try to keep several bird baths with differing levels of water so if we have a hard freeze, I can at least melt one or two. We are so lucky to have many different birds that migrate through Tennessee and so many that stay all winter. It's truly a blessing.
