We are having a lot of fun observing our gardens! Our tulips have emerged despite a recent cold snap and snow storm. Four of our test garden tulips have emerged with an average height of 1.875 cm. Our tallest plant is 4 cm.

We also planted tulips at 5 inches deep and 9 inches deep. We thought that the 5 inch deep garden would emerge first, but those bulbs emerged at the same time as the seven inch test garden. We have had 2 bulbs emerge in the 5 inch deep garden with an average height of 2.25 cm. Our tallest plant is 3.5 cm. None of our 9 inch deep tulip bulbs have emerged.

We are wondering if the 9 inch deep tulips will emerge and if there will be a height difference in any of the flowers after they bloom.
