Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/16/2012

Number: 1

On February 16, 2012, Bruce Ripley reported that at the tip of the Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area (Ontario) - east end of Lake Ontario and around the bird banding station, there were "Cedar waxwings and (wintering) American Robins in the hundreds". This particular location is renowned for birdwatching during the fall and spring migration periods, and also excellent for migrating monarch butterflies.
