Milkweed (FIRST sighted)

Date: 02/19/2012

Number: 1

Altus and I went on another milkweed safari in the southern part of Calhoun County here along the midcoast of Texas this afternoon and found another of the native milkweeds sprouted and actually some of the plants blooming. We found several
miles of Asclepias viridis, green antelopehorn or green milkweed, already growing abundantly well along two of the highways we surveyed, to the point that some of the plants were already blooming. photos at: http://mcmc.homestead.com/viridis21912.html
