Saw American Bald Eagle perched on top of dead tree in slough on south side of US 72 eastbound between MS St. Rd. 5 and Cannan Rd. west of Walnut, MS at 12Noon Sun. 2-19-12. First time I have ever seen one in the wild or heard of one in that area.
