Cathy Downs found one antelope horns in our milkweed patch at the Cibolo Nature Center.
The February 22 date is 2 weeks earlier than the previous earliest date.
For the past 10 years, the average emergence date is March 17 (I believe. I don't have the records with me.)
The previous earliest dates were March 8 in 2010 and March 7 in 2011.
