Tulips BLOOMED
Sightings report image

Date: 02/24/2012

Number: 1

Yesterday we noticed that the tulips had red only on the tips. The rest was green. This morning two of them were red but not open yet. By recess they had bloomed. We think they opened slowly like being born or growing. The petals of the blooms are a brilliant crimson and red. In the center are yellow things on a stem with brown stuff all around.

Some of the tulip plants are very tall and bending toward the sun and their buds are about to bloom. Other tulips have barely emerged. Some bulbs haven't even emerged. We planted them all at the same time. We had some cold weather and maybe that is why some have not emerged.
