All Other Signs of Spring

We saw a pileated woodpecker this morning making huge holes in a dead limb of our large weeping willow tree. We think he/she may be planning to nest there. We have lived here for fifty years and this is the first of this type of woodpecker we've ever seen. Our tree looks like a woodpecker condo.
