A Baltimore Oriole began coming to my suet feeders in mid January...the temps have been so mild this winter. I put out oranges and grape jelly and he came back multiple times a day for about 10 days. Then a snow storm hit, and the next couple of days became a real struggle. I found him all fluffed up one morning looking terrible, so easily netted him and took him to a wildlife rehabber. He did not survive but died a couple days later. I have wondered whether he failed to migrate at all or came back way too early.
