Staff at the Virginia Living Museum report that the extra Journey North tulips planted in the museum's Children's Learning Garden by staff emerged today.
The tulips emerged right on time, which suprised us since the winter has been relatively mild. The first hard frost did not come until January.
The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998.
