We got almost 6 inches of snow yesterday afternoon and evening, so it was a real surprise to see our first Red Winged Blackbirds at the feeder this morning.

I wonder if all the severe storms that have been occuring in the South and SoutEast portion of the US have blown some of these guys further north sooner than normal.
