Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 03/03/2012

Number: 1

We saw a female monarch on our Mexican Milkweed today. We have not seen any eggs.

We released three female monarch butterflies into our garden last week. The released monarchs were raised in our habitat from caterpillars, which we removed from our milkweed in the garden i.e. wild caterpillars then fed in habitat, formed chrysalides and were all successfully released.
