Amazingly, as I was taking a round bale in my truck out in our pastures, a gorgeous monarch butterfly flew right up to my truck window as though to say Hi! I have never seen a monarch in December before this. We had been having very mild weather and everything was greener than it had been during the summer drought, due to fall rainstorms.
