Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/05/2012

Number: 1

Today we had two monarchs in and out of the garden. My daughter returned home from school and saw a monarch in the front garden on one of the milkweed plants. She checked the plants and found the eggs. Some of the eggs are deposited on the underside of the leaf and some on the top of the leaf. We have lots of eggs distributed over two large Mexican Milkweed plants. We have a lot of early milkweed this year. I'm off to check the rest of the garden!
