Tulips EMERGED
Sightings report image

Date: 03/06/2012

Number: 1

On March 6th, 2012 the Pioneer School of Spokane Valley observed the emergence of our Red Emperor Tulips. The weather is partly cloudy, 39 degrees F, calm winds and 19 % humidity. The day felt cool. We saw the sprouting of all 16 Red Emperor Tulips that were planted in the fall. Next, we predict that the sprouts will grow, begin photosynthesis as the leaves uncurl. The red tulip will form as the plant takes shape.
