Heard a red-wing blackbird at my house (suburb of Buffalo, NY). Temperatures here have been 10-20 degrees above average -- today's forecast is for 60 degrees F. and the rest of the week will be very warm, too. Doves and cardinals have been making breeding vocalizations for a few weeks. It seems very early for this.
