Sorry; Posted before under "winter sighting". Here goes again.

Like clockwork, my Rufous came back today. Doing yard work I heard him with his distinctive flight sound and I was so excited to see him again. Don’t know if he's the same one, but I think he is. This will be now the third year I can remember. What’s interesting, I was just in our backyard watching (and hearing him) fly back and forth to my feeder and when the other normal guys (Anna’s?) that have been here all year, Rufous has no problem intimidating the local residents then takes over the feeder as his! This little guy has some courage and nerves! If his patterns are like the last couple of years, he may only hang around for a week or so then he’s gone.
