I stepped out onto my deck this morning before dawn to fill the bird feeders and was greeted by sounds of a flock of robins. Although it was too dark to see them, it sounded like a large number of individuals. By the way, I did not see any winter resident robins this year, although we've had them in the past. Weather here continues to be unseasonably warm -- it hit 64 degrees yesterday. Forecast was to drop to 40s overnight, but it didn't ... it's 59 degrees at 7:00 am!!
