We have a Pond that is about 1 to 1 1/2 acres located in the woods. Last week the shoreline was free of ice but the colder temperatures in the low 30's during the day and 20's at night along with three inches of snow closed it up
again. The last two days have been in the low 60's and windy with sun. We had rain last night and this morning there is only a small area that is not ice free. This is almost two weeks early.
