We were doing our daily two mile walk. We usually spot the first monarch in the field but we spotted this as we were walking on a trail in the woods. I look forward to my first monarch and milkweed sighting each season. My husband and I have a competition to see who will be first. I saw the first monarch and he found the first milkweed.
