At the Kerrville-Schreiner Park's Butterfly Garden we collect data for the Univ. of Minnesota's Monarch Larval Monitoring Project (MLMP). Typically this is done on Thursday (weather permitting). So after we looked for milkweed and recorded the data for the MLMP we then walked around the Butterfly Garden to record butterfly species. Saw one monarch as we began our walk -- could not tell whether it was a male or female.
