I have seen robins in the yards of friends in area towns, but this morning is the first time a robin came to my yard (I live in a wooded area next to a lake and state park). The robin was foraging along the driveway, then jumped to a bush and the telephone wire. On the wire, it sang the "peep and tut" alarm call,perhaps because it was alarmed at me taking its photo. I could hear another robin in the distance. Thanks to Journey North, I am now learning bird languages!
