i counted at 135 bald eagles on a sewer pond off the mn. river right outside of le sueur mn on highway 169. the ponds had some ice on them . this was about 8:00 this morning (sunday). the most i have ever seen in that area is about 20. it seems they were mostly mature eagles with a few young ones.
