The first confirmed ruby-throated hummingbird sighting of the season in my garden just north of the Magic Kingdom! A mature male appeared to skip the feeders and fed on the blooming flowers in my garden most of the rainy afternoon and evening. I believe it may have been here a few days earlier - March 9th or 10th - but I was not able to confirm the sighting until today. I know many can relate to the joy brought by the first sighting of these magical feathered friends. Here is to a hummer of a spring and summer!
